Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that primarily affects the mesothelial cells lining the lungs, abdomen, or heart.  It is strongly associated with exposure to asbestos fibers, which are mineral fibers commonly used in construction materials, insulation, and other industrial applications. Inhalation or ingestion of asbestos fibers can lead to the development of mesothelioma, often several decades after exposure.

Down's syndrome

  It is also known as trisomy 21, is caused by the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 21. This condition results from numerical abnormalities in the chromosomes, specifically an additional copy of chromosome 21, leading to developmental and intellectual disabilities, characteristic facial features, and various health issues. It is the most common chromosomal disorder and is associated with an extra chromosome in the pair 21, rather than the sex chromosomes.
