New Draft Coastal Regulation Zone Notification, 2018

The MoEF&CC has framed a new draft Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Notification, 2018. The relaxations/amendment proposed in the CRZ Notification, 2018 shall, however, come into force only after the respective Coastal Zone Management Programme (CZMP) framed to the CRZ Notification, 2011 have been revised/updated by the States/UTs, as per the provisions of the CRZ, 2018 Notification and approved by the MoEF&CC.  The salient features of the draft CRZ Notification, 2018 and changes with respect to CRZ Notification, 2011, are as under:- 1. The High Tide Line (HTL) has been demarcated by the National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) and shall be reckoned as a universal standard for the HTL for all regulatory purposes under the CRZ Notification, 2018. 2. Common Service Centre

Common Services Centres (CSC) Scheme is an integral part of “Digital India” initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The CSCs are ICT enabled front end service delivery points at the village level enabling delivery of Government, Financial, Social and Private Sector services in the areas of agriculture, health, education, entertainment, FMCG products, banking, insurance, pension, utility payments, etc. CSCs are managed and operated by a village level entrepreneur (VLE). Presently there are 2.6Lacs CSCs across the country. 90% of these are managed and operated by Women. About the Scheme PMGDISHA Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharata Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) is an integral component of Digital India Initiative and is expected to be one of the largest digital literacy programmes in the world. PMGDISHA scheme was initiated in February, 2017 . The implementation of the Scheme would be carried out under the overall supervision of Ministry of Electronics and IT in active collaboration with States/UTs through their designated State Implementing Agencies, District e-Governance Society (DeGS), etc. The scheme will be implemented through Training Centre – One in Every Panchayat (2.5 Lakh Training Centre). Corporate through CSR and NGOs having facilities for conduct of training also participates in Digital Literacy program. Scheme Name: SAUBHAGYA- Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana. Launching Dat e & Year: 25 September, 2017. The scheme Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana –“Saubhagya” will ensure electrification of all willing households in the country in rural as well as urban areas here today. Under the Scheme, States and Union Territories are required to complete the works of household electrification by the 31st of December 2018. The beneficiaries for free electricity connections would be identified using Socio Economic and Caste Census (SECC) 2011 data.  Un-electrified households not covered under the SECC data would also be provided electricity connections under the scheme on payment of Rs. 500 which shall be recovered by DISCOMs in 10 instalments through electricity bill. NATIONAL NUTRITION MISSION(NNM)

The National Nutrition Mission (NNM) has been set up with a three year budget of Rs.9046.17 crore commencing from 2017-18. The NNM is a comprehensive approach towards raising nutrition level in the country on a war footing. It will comprise mapping of various Schemes contributing towards addressing malnutrition.
